LABUAN BAJO TERKINI Is Your Education of High Quality? Education plays a crucial role in the learning process, aiming to develop an individual’s potential, skills, knowledge, and character.

According to Aulia Ramadhani & Rizky Pratama (2025), education is a fundamental element in a nation’s progress. With technological advancements, the education sector has undergone a significant transformation through digitalization.

This development offers numerous benefits, including broader internet access and more innovative learning methods.

However, digitalization also presents challenges that must be addressed to ensure education remains effective and accessible to all members of society.

Challenges in Enhancing Education Quality. Limited Internet Access in Education. In the digital era, internet access plays a vital role in improving education quality. However, many regions, especially rural and remote areas, still face inadequate internet infrastructure.

Students and teachers without internet access struggle to find information, participate in online learning, and develop essential digital skills for the modern workforce. This gap leads to disparities in education quality between urban and rural areas.

Challenges in Adapting to Curriculum Changes ,Curriculum updates are essential for ensuring that education remains relevant to the evolving demands of society.

However, these changes often pose challenges for both teachers and students in adapting to new teaching methods. Many educators lack a comprehensive understanding of the revised curriculum due to insufficient training and inadequate dissemination of information.

Consequently, the teaching and learning process becomes less effective, and students face difficulties adjusting to the new system.

Strategies for Improving Education Quality, Enhancing Infrastructure and Expanding Affordable Internet Access,To bridge the digital divide, governments and internet service providers must collaborate to expand network infrastructure, particularly in remote areas.

Investments in signal towers, fiber optic networks, and satellite internet services can provide solutions for hard-to-reach regions. Additionally, schools in areas with limited internet access should receive support in the form of free WiFi or subsidized internet services to facilitate learning for students and teachers.

Comprehensive Teacher Training and Gradual Curriculum Implementation,Before implementing a new curriculum, the government should provide extensive and continuous training for teachers.

These programs should cover curriculum concepts, effective teaching strategies, and the integration of technology into education. Additionally, accessible learning modules and resources should be provided to guide educators in adapting to curriculum changes within their classrooms.

Enhancing education quality requires a multifaceted approach, including increased funding, curriculum reform, teacher training, equitable access, and the effective use of technology in learning.

By addressing these challenges with well-planned policies, a more resilient education system can be developed—one that is equipped to meet future demands. Collaboration between governments, educators, and international organizations is essential to achieving sustainable educational progress.
